SEIICHI UCHIKAWA

After working as an industrial designer for an electronics manufacturer, at the age of 24 he founded the PIVOT Corporation, a company committed to developing and producing leading edge electronic devices for racing cars. In 1986, he assumed the role of CEO of PIVOT. From 1997, utilizing driving efficiency data collected from races, efforts were turned to the development of devices geared toward assisting in economic driving and high precision instantaneous fuel consumption meters; with this he has reaffirmed his position as an active contemporary industrial designer committed to realizing solutions to environmental problems and improvements in environmental quality.
